Edan Welch (born on March 29, 1978 in Oromocto, New Brunswick, Canada) was a minor-league professional ice hockey player. He went to college at St. Thomas University (New Brunswick) where he played collegiate ice hockey. ==Hockey career== After graduating from St. Thomas University (New Brunswick), Edan leaped right into the pro game. He played three seasons with the now-defunct Macon Trax of the ACHL/WHA2/SPHL. When the Trax folded, Welch signed a contract with the expansion Pee Dee Cyclones of the SPHL. He was the team's leading goalscorer in the 2005 to 2006 season. Welch has signed with the Fayetteville FireAntz for the 2007-08 season.
